An efficient method of generating vortex electromagnetic wave based on double‐layer transmissive metasurface

A broadband double‐layer transmissive metasurface (TMS) for effective generate vortex electromagnetic wave is presented in this paper. The proposed TMS consists of two types of elements. The first element is composed of a multi‐resonant dipole and four metal vias. The metal vias increase the coupling strength between the upper and lower layers to improve transmission efficiency. On the basis of the first element, the second element adds stubs to ensure sufficient phase shift. The far‐field cross polarisation is eliminated by special element arrangement. Then, a centre‐fed linear polarisation TMS is designed to generate orbital angular momentum beams with mode l = ? 1. The proposed TMS is designed, manufactured and measured to verify the proposed design. The measured results indicate that a maximum gain of 20.8 dBi and narrow divergence angle of ±5° are achieved at 18 GHz. Furthermore, mode purity is higher than 86.1% within the 17 to 19 GHz band. The proposed double‐layer TMS saved costs, reduced weight and without assembly error is a good candidate for OAM generator.     

基于统计软件R的安全壳泄漏率试验数据有效性分析

安全壳泄漏率计算过程中，最重要的环节是以不同时刻测量数据对时间进行线性回归分析。对回归的显著性检验以及方差分析是评价试验结果有效性的重要手段。本文基于统计软件R对某电厂调试阶段安全壳泄漏率试验的数据进行分析，通过对线性回归模型的独立性、正态性和异方差性检验以及极端样本点的剔除等方式，探讨泄漏率计算前的回归诊断对计算结果可靠性的影响。通过回归诊断的实例分析发现，在安全壳泄漏率计算的数据样本中，可能存在自相关、非正态和异方差性等问题影响回归结果，进而影响泄漏率的最终结果。因此，在计算泄漏率结果时，须通过回归诊断方法评价数据的有效性，对不能通过检验的样本应通过适当方法对最终结果进行修正。      

Operando Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy Studies of Sodium–Oxygen Redox Reactions

Lower charge overpotential of sodium–oxygen (Na–O₂) batteries makes them a promising electrical storage technology. However, they have an undesirable discharge product, sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), which has widely been found in many previous studies. Whether and how the carbon components in the cathode are involved in the formation of Na₂CO₃ is still not well understood. Herein, an all solid-state Na–O₂ battery was constructed and its charge and discharge cycles were studied using ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The operando XPS results clearly demonstrate the formation of Na₂CO₃ on the cathode during the discharge cycle. A fraction of the carbonate formed can be cycled while charging the battery. Transformation of the carbon-based cathode to Na₂CO₃ is a potential cause of capacity fading of the Na–O₂ battery.     

攀西地区白马辉长岩型超低品位钒钛磁铁矿选铁试验研究

论文以攀西地区白马辉长岩型超低品位钒钛磁铁矿为研究对象,查明了该矿石中化学组分、矿物组成、铁和TiO₂的相态。在此基础上进行了多粒级多磁场梯度干式磁选抛尾试验,通过铁和TiO₂的相态分析阐述了干式磁选抛尾的合理性；进行了干式磁选精矿阶段磨矿阶段选别试验,二段磁选在-200目占80%细度下获得了TFe 57.78%、TiO₂ 7.72%、V₂O₅ 0.69%的铁精矿,铁精矿产率为12.93%、铁回收率51.56%,相对磁性铁回收率为98.70%,V₂O₅回收率78.26%。结果表明该矿石虽然铁品位低,仍具综合回收利用价值。      

Safe preparation of beefy meaty peptide with Bacillus subtilis

Preparation of flavour peptides with microorganisms is an attractive choice for its large-scale production. However, beefy meaty peptide (BMP), as a research hotspot in the field of umami peptide, has been studied in few microorganisms, and furthermore, the safe preparation of BMP has not yet been reported. In this study, multi-copy BMP (8BMP) was successfully expressed and produced in the ‘generally recognized as safe’ Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis). Firstly, 8BMP with the potentially intense umami was screened out based on molecular docking analysis. Then, it was successfully expressed in the B. subtilis 168 and verified through sensory evaluation. Finally, the scaling capacity of 8BMP was evaluated in a 5-L fermenter, with the highest yield (0.84 g L⁻¹) 6.4 times than that of shake flask, which is conductive for industrial production of BMP and other food peptides.

Theoretical calculation and evaluation of n +~(240,242,244)Pu reactions

The nuclear data of n+~(240;242;244)Pu reactions for incident energy below 200 MeV are calculated and evaluated to meet the requirement in the design of an accelerator-driven subcritical system. The optical model is used to calculate the total, nonelastic, shape elastic cross sections, shape elastic scattering angular distributions, and transmission coefficients. The distorted-wave Born approximation is applied to calculate the direct inelastic scatterings to the discrete excited states. The nuclear reaction statistical models and fission theory are applied to describe neutron, proton, deuteron, triton, helium-3, alpha and c emissions, and fission consistently. The results thus obtained are compared with experimental data and the evaluated data obtained from ENDF/B-VII.1 and JENDL-4.0.
